Last Saturday, November 8, the UNILAG Multipurpose Hall, Akoka, was buzzing with energy, laughter, and inspiration as Hangoutwithtee hosted its unforgettable “No Dull Yourself” event. This was not just an event, it was a celebration of women, empowerment, creativity, and living your best life.

From the moment attendees arrived, the atmosphere was electric. Music filled the hall, lively exhibitions showcased female-owned brands, and guests enjoyed free breast cancer screenings, medical check-ups, and gifts from various brands.

The spotlight was on an inspiring lineup of speakers who truly lit up the room. Special Guest Speaker Mr. Gerald Wolf, Deputy Consul General of the German Consulate in Lagos, gave encouraging words to the attendees, Kayode Kuti, CEO of TertiaryDNS, shared insights on seizing opportunities in tech today, while journalist Adesuwa Onyenokwe, TV broadcaster Marian Anazodo, entertainment lawyer Yemisi Falaye, DSVA Executive Secretary Titilola Vivour-Adeniyi, specialist obstetrician Dr. Olabisi Olanrewaju, and author Mariam Pedro-Tijani each shared their unique perspectives, reminding everyone to never dull themselves.

As is tradition at Hangoutwithtee events, the speakers didn’t just inspire, they danced! Laughter, claps, and cheers filled the hall as everyone joined in the fun, making it a truly interactive and joyous celebration. The event was masterfully hosted by the energetic Unekwu Nwaezeapu, keeping the audience fully engaged from start to finish.


Adding even more magic to the day, poetry performances by Kemistree Bakare and Ife Global captured hearts and stirred emotions, leaving attendees inspired and entertained in equal measure.
