APC Amuwo Odofin-Oriade Summit seeks end to party's electoral woes and internal crises
Stakeholders at the All Progressives Congress Amuwo Odofin-Oriade Summit have harped on the need for members to design a new channel for the rebirth of the party to ensure its progress and success in future elections in the area.
These were the submissions of political leaders All Progressives Congress Amuwo Odofin -Oriade Summit 2024, themed: Bridging Gap For Stronger Future at Festac Town.
Chairman, Lagos APC, Cornelius Ojelabi at the event which had in attendance a House of Representatives Member, Amuwo Odofin , Oghene Egoh, urged members to be up and doing purge their minds of hatred, live peacefully with each other and be united to move the party forward.
Amuwo Odofin Local Government Area, Valentine Buraimoh, said the programme marked a rebirth in the history of the party to continue to stand tall for members to purge their mind in a respectable manner to define a way for the party to move forward.
Chairman Oriade Local Council Development Area Ramotalai Akinlola-Hassan, at the programme which had in attendance political leaders thanked stakeholders for their supports to foster unity, cohesion and peace for the party to move forward.

Father of the Day and former Minister of Foreign Affairs, Senator Musiliu Obanikoro, said the essence of the convergence was to appease aggrieved members of the party to come together as one to resolve conflicts which was arrived at a joint apex meeting of the party urging them to be truthful, honest and embrace sacrifice to speak to issues bedeviling the party to ensure successful outings in future.
While lamenting the failure of APC party to secure federal representative seat since 2015 in the Council Area, Chairman Organising Committee, Ambrose Ahmed, said the programme was aimed for APC's members in the area to shun anti party activities and advocated systematic restructuring of the party, to achieve the desired results.
